Ebihen 16 is a lengthened version of Ebihen 15. She has same breadth and depth but one foot more in length.
This gives a more elegant profile and better performances. This is why I advise to build this version if you have enough space in the building and/or wintering shed.
More than 60 Ebihen 15 or 16 are completed or under construction, many of them being Ebihen 16. However, I just receive the first pictures of an Ebihen 16, built by Michel Sainrames.
As shown on the picture, this lengthened version allows to set a larger lug sail. Many other rigs are possible.
