Ben Ullings houten boten is a boatbuilder located in the Netherlands. He is building Ilur and Seil 18 on my design, and also Acorn 15, a famous Iain Ougthred design. He has just delivered this new Seil 18 built with the last version of Seil plan, including several improvements. The boat is to be painted and finished by the customer. The hull is clinker built in plywood using NC (Numerically Controled) cutting. Seil 18 may be built by home builders either from a kit of from full size patterns.
The kit (see sketch) makes construction very easy. It is available from my partners in the USA, the Netherlands, Australia and France.
